Hello everyone! This is Hayakawa, an evangelist of dance and rhythm exercises ♪

Suddenly, when you hear "rhythm training," what kind of exercise do you imagine? There are various methods, but there's one important keyword common to all of them. That is "repetition."

Why do we repeat the same movements over and over?

It's to embed the movements to the "reflex" level, where your body moves automatically without conscious thought. In fact, this is crucial training directly connected to preventing falls and ensuring smooth walking in daily life. To build a body that can move without thinking, "Next, I'll step with my right foot...", repetition is the shortest path!

Challenge the Dance Basic: "Isolation"!

In the world of dance, practicing moving individual body parts separately is called "isolation." For example, movements like these:

  • Raising and lowering shoulders (up and down of the shoulder joint)

  • Opening and closing shoulder blades (opening and closing the chest)

  • Bending and extending the spine (rounding and arching)

  • Twisting the hip joint (inward and outward)

By exploring and understanding how far your body can move, and repeating these movements to the music, you can gain the comfort of riding the rhythm and a "youthful body" that moves as you wish.

Mind and Body, "Groovy!"

In the world of dance, riding the rhythm is often expressed as "Ride the rhythm" or "Good vibe!"

Entrusting yourself to the music, liberating both your mind and body—.

Would you like to experience that exhilarating feeling with me?
