Your Top Priority Action Right Now

  • Jul 25
  • 2 min read

Conditional acceptance is the same as rejection.

If you choose a job based on conditions like salary, social security benefits, or available vacation time, then the job will likely choose you based on conditions such as your age, educational background, and qualifications.

Your inherent capabilities are often not immediately visible:

  • Concentration and perseverance

  • Comprehension and processing power

  • Logical thinking

  • Knowledge acquisition

  • Skill mastery

  • Communication ability

  • Hospitality

  • Health

What does it take to maintain these at a certain level? Is your current priority just to maintain and improve existing abilities?

What kind of person do you want to be in 5 years? How about in 10 years?

  • Income

  • Goals

  • Needs

  • Risk tolerance

  • Current self-awareness

It goes without saying that if you take no action, things will only decline. No one can defeat aging. But what if your daily life was a "purpose-based" one? This is called "voluntarism." What are your will and intentions focused on? The happiness of your family, a stable life, good relationships with friends, health? These are outcomes, and I suspect that happiness or stability achieved by sacrificing yourself could lead to some negative consequences.

As long as we live, we cannot ignore conditions:

  • Price

  • Salary/Compensation

  • Treatment

  • Social status/position

  • Rights

All of these are conditions for distributing to you, frameworks, systems, and the rules and laws that maintain their order.

Living under conditions may maintain a certain order and be rational, but that rationality can sometimes be ruthless and cruel. The required conditions continue to increase year by year, and if we lack something, others who better meet the conditions will be chosen. Society has become a replaceable world.

Returning to Conscience

Please tell me about your original scenery, your primal experiences.

The memory of going to the sea with my father, snorkeling by the rocks, a beautiful and unknown world stretching out before me. But right next to it was a deep drop-off, where the currents could steal your freedom, and I felt the fear of death being right there. I have other memories of the sea too: setting up fishing rods and tackle together, buying bait and chum. The bobber sinking, filled with excitement for the unseen opponent in the water.

Your purpose might be hidden in such primal experiences. Society's conditions combined with yours create status and position, which might be high or low. But what do such differences in height matter? Reality transforms into a shining miracle only when you sincerely respond to your purpose.

Even with a purpose, we are constantly swayed by various conditions: this is advantageous, that avoids risk. Before we know it, we cling to rules that don't align with our purpose. We are in such a vulnerable position.

The top priority action you should take now is to recall your original scenery, your primal experiences, and find a small purpose of your own, one that has nothing to do with any conditions.

The purpose of life isn't about jumping over high hurdles. It's about setting your own unique purpose, proceeding with a healthy dose of skepticism, organically and naturally, and with a measured progressive momentum.

It's true that you're a small force, but you are never powerless.

You can definitely do it.
